Edit PDF Online Free — Add Text, Draw & Annotate

This tool lets you annotate any PDF right in your browser — add draggable text boxes, draw freehand with a pen, highlight sections, and place images or a signature anywhere on the page.

Unlike our dedicated Sign PDF and Add Watermark tools, this is a general-purpose annotation canvas: mix and match text, drawings, highlights, and images on the same page, then reposition or delete anything before exporting.

Everything is flattened directly into the PDF using pdf-lib, entirely in your browser — your file and everything you add to it never leave your device.

1. Upload your PDF — Select the document you want to annotate.
2. Pick a tool — Text, Pen, Highlight, or Image.
3. Add your annotation — Click to place text or an image, or drag to draw or highlight.
4. Adjust or delete — Switch to Select, drag any element to reposition it, resize images, or delete what you don't need.
5. Export — Click "Export PDF" to flatten everything into the document and download it.
